Where to place a cat litter box?

You must install a special container aka litter box for your cat in a quiet and convenient place in the house to provide them with comfort. If you reside in a high-rise building, it is recommended to place one litter box on each floor. If you have to move the litter box, do it gradually, over a short distance every day. Cats will not tolerate a dirty and smelly litter box, so clean it of solid waste at least once a day. After cleaning the litter box, wash it with a mild detergent and add fresh filler, doing this at least once a week. If a clumping litter is used, you can do it less often.

First, consult a veterinarian if your cat does not use a litter box. Do not forget that ammonia, deodorants and scents, especially lemon, are not recommended for cleaning the litter box. Sometimes the cat's reluctance to use the litter box may be due to medical reasons that require medical attention.
